World Thinking Day-Polynesian Islands

This year we really wanted Australia for our country but someone else did too.  We were assigned the Polynesian Islands.  We could have done just French Polynesian but we decided to break up the girls into to groups of four and assign different countries.  The countries they picked were USA-Hawaii, New Zealand, Fiji and Tahiti.  All these islands and many more make up the Polynesian Islands.  We cut the poster boards in half and each group of girls made their own.  On our table we had the display posters, decorations from Party City and posters we received from Tahiti and New Zealand.  Hawaii and Tahiti tourism bureaus were nice enough to send us pens, magnets, brochures, and bracelets to pass out.  We also bought a box of leis to pass out.. For food we served mango salsa and chips.  This is usually one of the best events of the years.  Our table looked great!!
